Forging drawings are graphic documents that use graphics, symbols and text to describe the geometric features and technical requirements of forgings. Therefore, forging drawings are basic documents that fully reflect the structure, size and technical elements of forgings. They are also the main basis for designing process flow, designing tooling, forging acceptance and forging production preparation.
Compared with other drawings, forging drawings have the following basic features:
1. Since forging drawings are the final results of forging design, the drawings must accurately and comprehensively reflect the special contents of forgings, such as parting lines, streamlines, fillets, slopes, etc.
2. From product design to finished products, forging drawings fully reflect the inherent technical requirements of products (such as performance, organization and internal continuity, etc.).
3. Reflect product design drawings and subsequent processing requirements, such as streamlines, process residuals, etc.
