Two Limitations of China's Large Forging Manufacturing

The development of any process has its constraints, and the production of large forgings is no exception. Although there are many effective ways to reduce the impact of constraints on process products, its inherent constraints are still inevitable and can only be minimized as much as possible.

There are two main constraints in the production process of large forgings:

1. Unlike other small parts, the production of large forgings requires a special process flow. Each forging has its own characteristics and production process, so more specific experience guidance is required in the production process, and it is difficult to guarantee the quality and compliance of forgings.

2. Due to the particularity of large forgings, they cannot be produced in large quantities, but only in small batches. Moreover, the production processes are also different, resulting in low production efficiency. The use of fixed statistical and calculation methods has also encountered some obstacles. It is precisely because of the above two constraints that the development of large forging technology has been restricted to a certain extent.

Future prospects

But with the advancement of Chinese technology, the impact of these constraints will be minimized.
