9Cr2Mo material is a typical Cr2 cold-rolled steel, which is mainly used in the industry to manufacture cold-rolled rollers, cold stamping dies, rolling mills and other forgings. But many people say that they don't understand the heat treatment method of 9Cr2Mo, so here we mainly talk about the heat treatment method of 9Cr2Mo, hoping to get spheroidizing annealing:

1. Heating 790~810℃, isothermal, 650~670℃, 500℃ out of the furnace and air cooling;

2. Quenching: Heating temperature = 880~900℃, quenching cooling: According to different forgings and different requirements, the cooling medium can be water, PAG quenching liquid, oil, etc.

Note: Forgings are typical Cr2 cold-rolled steel.

3. Critical point temperature (approximate value): Ac1 = 740℃ Ar1 = 700℃ Accm: 850℃

4. Common softening specifications for cold-pressed blanks: (820 10)C for 3~4h, slowly cooled to 650℃ with the furnace at a cooling rate of .15℃/h

5. Cold-pressed blanks are cooled from the furnace to ingot softening specifications: (820±10)℃ for 3~4h, (720±10)℃ for 6~8h, and then slowly cooled to 600℃ with the furnace,

6. Normalizing specifications: Normalizing temperature 900~920℃, hardness 302~388HBW7. Batch isothermal spheroidizing annealing: 790~810℃ for 2~3h,

7. Furnace cooling, 700-720℃ insulation for 3-4h, hardness 217HBW, pearlite structure 2-5,

8. Quenching and tempering specifications for network carbide forgings, level 2

Quenching temperature 830-850℃, hardness 62-65HRC, tempering temperature 130-150℃, hardness 62-65HRC2.

Quenching temperature 840-860℃, hardness 61-63HRC, tempering temperature 150-170℃, hardness 60-62HRC.
