Forged Steel Bars

Forged Steel Bars

  • Description

Kingrail Parts manufactures and supplies forged bars in various shapes—such as flats, stepped shafts, and rings—widely used in industries including oil and gas, railways, aerospace, defense, and power generation. As a leading forging manufacturer, we produce high-quality forged steel products ranging from carbon steel to stainless steel, including forged ingots, alloy steel, die steel, and creep-resistant steel.

Manufacturing Process for Forged/Rolled Bars and Rings

Kingrail Parts is a leading forging manufacturer specializing in forged round bars, forgings, and forged ingots to meet the needs of diverse industries. Our forged round bars are produced from high-quality ingots using advanced hot forging processes. Raw material selection—including ingot size—is based on specific customer requirements regarding reduction ratios, mechanical properties, and internal integrity. Heat treatment processes are strictly monitored via automated data logging systems to ensure superior product quality.

Quality Inspection for Forged Bars and Rings:

We conduct rigorous quality inspections on bars, rings, and stepped shafts, providing inspection reports (included in test certificates) based on customer requirements. These inspections include:

*   Surface inspection – 100% Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

*   Positive Material Identification (PMI) – XRF testing to verify chemical composition

*   Dimensional verification – 100% inspection using calibrated vernier calipers and go/no-go gauges

*   Non-metallic inclusion rating (NMIR)

*   Macro- and micro-structural phase analysis

*   Grain size measurement

*   Ultrasonic testing (UT) – detection of internal defects

*   Radiographic testing

*   Gas analysis – measurement of oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen content

*   Mechanical testing – impact testing (-190°C to 660°C)

*   Test certificates – provided in accordance with EN 10204 3.1 standards
