Different forging methods have different procedures, and the general order is:
1. Cutting of forging blanks; heating of forging blanks; (roller forging blank preparation);
2. Forming and trimming of forgings; intermediate inspection, inspection of forging size and surface defects;
3. Heat treatment of forgings to eliminate forging stress and improve metal cutting performance;
4. Cleaning, mainly to remove surface oxide scale;
5. Correction;
6. Inspection: General forgings need to be inspected for appearance and hardness, and important forgings also need chemical composition analysis, mechanical properties, residual stress detection, non-destructive testing, etc.
